Current projects
research projects

The improved accessibility of original sources such as church records via online platforms is once again allowing for more research activities. Several research projects are currently underway:
- Platjenwerbe family tree (Ritterhude municipality)
for a member of the association. The trail also leads to Celle! - Family tree (Braunschweig-) Mascherode
as part of the reappraisal of old family records - Jemgum branch of the Wahmbeck family line,
main civil line
Also of interest are the connections between the Schrader families and the Von dem Busch family of Hildesheim around 1800 and the Huguenot Chappuzeau family (around 1750-1800).
Archive projects
The aim of the current archive projects is to improve research skills.

- Systematic review and preparation of family records, starting with the letters A-C
- Digitisation, transcription and preparation of details from the Schrader archive, currently details 1000-1500
Enquiries to the Schrader Family Association

I receive several enquiries every year.
So far this year, I have received two enquiries:
- Enquiry from Brandenburg regarding Schrader in Nordhausen towards the end of the 17th century
- Enquiry from Hamburg regarding the Schrader family of coachmen in Bückeburg 1740-1880
